Startup Idea: Ranch Management Software

Startup idea to create a software that allows ranchers to digitally manage their pastures. Features would include mapping and labeling different pastures, tracking cattle count, maintaining records of pregnant heifers and their birthing status, noting down pasture feeding or vaccination schedules. It should support multi-device usage for real-time updates and easier coordination between different people working on the ranch.

This is from a rancher’s perspective. A software that let you map out each pasture you have, label them, and can keep track of how many cattle are kept in each one. Also, being able to keep track of the heifers that are pregnant in each pasture, and easy to change when they give birth. When it is birthing time it becomes difficult to keep track just by using paper and pencil. It would also be great to have something where you can put in what pastures were fed or given shots would make it easier. Also, something that can be used on multiple portable devices since not the same person does it every day and sometimes you have two sets of people in two different directions doing things. It would be great if they could input it into the portable devise and the main boss be able to see it from their computer, and know exactly what is going on.
