Startup Idea: Smart Employee Scheduling System for Restaurants

Startup idea to develop a predictive software that can aid restaurant managers in scheduling their employees. The program will rely on past records, analyze the performance of the employees, and upcoming holidays to produce an efficient work schedule. It will also factor in employee's days off and allow managers to manually override and edit the schedule.

As a manager of a number of restaurants, scheduling was one thing that was annoying! I wish a program could predict the busy times os a business (by previous records, coming holidays, etc.) and see who the stronger employees are (set my managers by quarterly reviews) and the program can help by giving the business (restaurant, retail, etc) a schedule that would best work for that company location. Employees would have to add their days off, so that would be taken into consideration. Managers can override and make changes, if necessary.
