Startup Idea: Integrated Database Management and Market Research Tool

Startup idea to develop a database management software that collates and harmonizes various databases, connects clients with potential partners in new markets and improves office communication. The platform aims to solve issues faced by market research & commercialization companies with overlapping elements in multiple copies of databases and the requirement of finding relevant partners in new markets.

A database management software Background: I work for a market research & commercialization company. As a part of this one of our major activities is to identify new technologies, distributors, manufacturers, research institutions. During the course of each project, multiple people work of various overlapping elements and we end up with multiple copies of databases (in excel) for each project

• a software which would collate different databases and harmonize them
• Uniform headings, with data in relevant columns

Another issue is finding relevant distributors/parners in new markets

• a platform that would connect clients with qualified potential partners in new markets
• rather than just a searchable list of distributors online

A third issue is office communication

• company email client is not the answer
• slack has been abused by many employees for personal communication.
