Startup Idea: GPS Journey Tracker with Custom Stops

Startup idea to develop a personalized journey tracker. The app would record GPS journeys, documenting any stops made (such as at gas stations or restaurants), and would provide users with reminders of these stops when they take the same route again. It would also note any shortcuts taken in the past on a specific route, making it a more customized navigation system with personal stops and shortcuts.

I often drive around to places and use my GPS to get direction somewhere. Along the way I sometimes stop to get gas or food. I would like some sort of app that would record automatically for me where I had stopped on a certain GPS journey and when I drive that route again, if I wanted to look up that same gas station, it would easily accessible. For example for a long drive, if I had once stopped at a gas station that was particularly cheap, if I was to make that long drive again, I would like something that would tell me how far away I am from that one gas station, so I can see if I can make it to there to fill up my tank. Or if I was driving somewhere and had stopped at a restaurant I really liked but then couldn't remember the name of it, if I input the same route in my phone, it would show me where I had stopped. Or, if I had taken a certain shortcut somewhere, if I drive that route again, my GPS would tell me that the previous time, I had taken a different route and I could save myself some time again. It Would be like WAZE but with more custom results.
