Startup Idea: Hyphenator: Automated Word Hyphenation Tool

Startup idea to develop a Word-processing add-on or standalone program for automatic hyphenation, enabling users to highlight an entire phrase and insert hyphens between all the words. This tool could be built as a Google Docs or Microsoft Word extension.

I work in publishing. This is something that has been driving me crazy lately, and comes up often.

Often, I have to hyphenate phrases that are 3 or more words long. I currently have to place the cursor between adjoining words, highly the single space, and type in the hyphen. This is a pain to do. What I would like to see is a word-processing function (or an entire program that's roughly equivalent to Word) that allows you to highlight the entire phrase and inserts a hyphen between all the words in the phrase. Or, even better, an add-on for Google Docs or Word so this action would be possible.

This ability would save a lot of time, give my fingers a break, a reduce aggravation. It would allow me to add several hyphens in a phrase in about a second.
