Startup Idea: Material Estimation and Price Comparison Software for Contractors

Startup idea to develop a software that automatically fetches the best prices and availability details of construction materials for general contractors. The program is also expected to analyze trends in material availability and price fluctuations.

I am a general contractor with seven employees. Whenever I make up an estimate, I have to manually compare and add each individual material. This is very time consuming.
If I had a program to fetch the best price and most importantly the availability of a given material it would drastically reduce my time working on these estimates that I don't get paid to create. Being able to see trends in availability and price fluctuations would also be very helpful.
