Startup Idea: Visual Recognition App for TV Shows and Movies

Startup idea to develop a visual recognition app that can identify TV shows or movies when scanned by phone. The app should provide complete database information about the identified show or movie, indicate if it’s available on various streaming platforms, and provide direct subscription links (possibly, for paid referrals). It's desired to be like a visual version of SoundHound, which performs similar functions for music.

Theoretical Situation: You surf through the channels on TV, and find yourself watching a show or movie on TV, but you don't know what it is and want to know more!

Where the Software Comes In: You scan the TV show with your phone for a few seconds, and it will give you complete information such as IMDB database information, or information from a database about TV shows. Also, it could tell you if you could watch it on Hulu, Netflix, etc and gives a direct link to subscribe to the service (which could be a paid referral thing for your app) - this would basically be the visual version of SoundHound, an existing app which does the same thing but for music only.
