Startup Idea: Real-time Film Production Management Software

Startup idea to develop a film production management software, allowing real-time updates of schedules and paperwork between a tablet or mobile device and a laptop without reliance on third-party internet solutions. Other features may include automatic backups and revision control of schedules.

I work in the entertainment industry as an assistant director on independent feature films.

Being able to easily update information on film schedules and paperwork directly from the set. A better technology is needed to easily update paperwork on an iPad or other tablet and have it live update on m laptop elsewhere without the use of a third party internet solution such as google docs.

I absolutely would pay to solve this issue using software.

Ideally, this software would pair my laptop to my mobile devices (ie. my iPhone, iPad, etc.) to my laptop. Within this new software "I could build spreadsheets, schedules and other important forms.

These resources could then be updated from my mobile devices and would live update on the original file on my laptop back home. Likewise this software would automatically create backups of the previous schedule when I make an edit to it so I could move backwards at any time.
