Startup Idea: Dynamic Routing Solution for Bus Services

Startup idea to develop a software solution that offers dynamic routing for bus services factoring in variables such as traffic, construction and cancellations to optimize route efficiency and save on costs. Inspired by Uber's transportation management, this tool could significantly benefit small to large fleet businesses.

My family started a bus company and found one of the most difficult things to manage was dynamic routing for the clients getting picked up or dropped off with the variables of traffic, construction and most importantly with cancellations, not having to go to a part of a route that was out of the way because someone isn't coming can be a big deal, but in the business people just drive by anyway. the savings in labor wages, gas, wear on equipment could be really significant especially in big fleets. With the advancements Uber has made in pioneering computer management of transportation, I would really hope it would be possible to improve short lines like ours.
