Startup Idea: Dog Activity Tracking & Training Mobile App

Startup idea to develop a mobile app providing dog owners with a single platform to manage their pet's activities, training, diet and health. It should include features like a 'Puppy Page' for tracking progress of puppies, 'Weight Tracker' for monitoring diet and weight goals, and a 'Tips and Tricks' page offering basic advice on training, diet and exercise.

I have worked in the veterinary field as an assistant and tech for over 5 years. I think something that would be very fun for clients would be an App that could keep track of their (and their dog's) activities together.

For example: their could be a "Puppy Page" for owners with young dogs that could give advice and record their puppies progress with basic obedience, manners, and tricks.

Users with older dogs can have a "weight tracker" page (because a majority of dogs in America are obese and we need to make putting dogs on a diet and exercise regimen more fun!!) that records a dog's progress and weight goal (as recommended by a veterinarian).

It can also have a "tips and tricks" page that can provide very basic training, diet, and exercise advice for owners. Overall, I think this idea would get owners to me more involved and more informed about caring and training their puppies and dogs. I have tried to find dog training and pet apps, but none seem to be well put together for the money (or free for that matter). I searched for "Pet Apps" on the app store. Right now, I keep track of my dog's exercise and progress in a little journal, but it would be helpful to have it anywhere like an App.
