I recently became a manager at a retail store I've worked at for a few years now. One of my biggest issues so far is handling the large number of employees in terms of requesting time off, what days they can and cant work,etc.

I would absolutely purchase an app that can enable me to easily schedule employees I am responsible for.They way I picture it I would have a full list of my employees in the app, and when I need to assign people to shifts available people would be outlined in green and unavailable people are shown in red.

In addition to this, it would be great if I had a last minute call out I could send a message to all available employees to see if they want to fill in. This would make my job so much more efficient and effective. I think one more thing I would like is to have some kind of chat with other managers so we don't undermine each other because it seems to be a habit at my job. Absolutely. There is nothing like this around and frankly I'm surprised no company has even thought of this. As of right now I'm stuck running around with a clipboard with 8 pages of schedules trying to figure stuff out that way. It takes up a lot of my time.
