Startup Idea: Advanced Patrol Monitoring Software for Security Officers

Startup idea to develop an advanced software that captures and analyses data from GPS tracking wands used by security officers. Aim is to identify exactly which areas are most frequently patrolled, presenting this data via a simple graph to assist with planning effective patrol routes.

I am a lead security officer for a multi million dollar company. We provide security to hundreds of different contracts and are having a small problem with some of our officers and clients.

The biggest problem we face is being able to prove that our officers are patrolling all areas of the properties. We have GPS type tracking wands with basic software that says they are touching points in areas of the properties but would be nice to have a bit more advanced software.

A piece of software that could be used to identify exactly which areas are visited specifically and put it into a simple graph to show which areas are visited most often would be helpful in determining effective routes based upon client needs.
