Startup Idea: Point of Sale Software to Skip Receipt Generation

Startup idea to develop a Point of Sale software that optionally omits the process of receipt generation. The software would be beneficial for retail businesses aiming for cost efficiency and swifter customer service by reducing paper usage and transaction time.

I work in retail and have noticed that most customers do not need there receipts. for instance early in the morning newspapers, orange juice, donuts etc. most consumers just want to pay and get right back on the road to work. so we are basically throwing paper away. the idea would be to install software on the point of sale service to not process a receipt for a customer. longer term this would save money for the business and also time. I have thought of it before but had no way of implementing.
