Startup Idea: Remote Access to Encrypted Database Startup Idea

Startup idea to develop a secure solution for remote access to sensitive databases. This tool should utilize robust encryption to ensure safety of personal data while enabling users to efficiently retrieve required documents from outside the office.

I work in an industry that uses a lot of personal data to obtain and create detailed reports. Due to the sensitive nature of the information that is used, we are required to store and manage a secure data base at the office. We are also working outside the office, remotely while trying to complete reports for clients. To obtain the information for the report we either have to travel into the office (often done on weekends, late at night etc to match other work requirements or trips), or we have to wait for someone to be able to search for the information and give it to us. What we need is a way of accessing the database outside the office where the information will be safe. Like using one of those bank type encryption devices to access our important data. We are trying to find the right solution at the moment, but the level of encryption required is making the task more difficult than I think it should/needs to be.
