Startup Idea: Retail Personal Assistant App

Startup idea to develop an application that acts as a personal assistant for retail shoppers. The application aims to utilize a location system and store mapping to guide customers efficiently around the store, mitigating the need for human assistance and improving the shopping experience.

I work in the retail industry and we are constantly dealing with angry customers. This is usually because nobody as around to help them and it took them a significant amount of time to find someone.

I think if someone could invent an app that acts as a customers personal assistant throughout the duration of their shopping stay, it would be most helpful. When you think about it, customers really don't like having people down their neck asking for assistance to begin with, this way an app could point the customer in the right direction using some type of location system and store mapping. No more asking where the bathroom is or searching for a particular section.

Myself personally, would not pay for software, but that doesn't mean that a large retail shopping center such as Kohl's or Wal-Mart wouldn't. After all, they are all about making the customers shopping experience enjoyable.
