Startup Idea: Unique ID Generation for Nonprofit Client Management

Startup idea to develop a software that can generate unique IDs for every client in a nonprofit organization. The software should also be able to indicate potential duplicate clients, thus enabling better client data management and simplifying the funding application process.

I am the administrator for a nonprofit company of 40+ employees. We receive multiple grants from different sources, and towards our different services (legal, housing, health, etc) all requiring their own database of clients.

Since the client data is not linked by one unique ID, and it is difficult to come up with one unique identifier-- lots of our clients have similar names, missing fields, etc.

It would be convenient to have a software that generates common unique id for clients and indicates where there might be duplicate clients so that we can have our client data in one place, and this would make it easier to create a comprehensive client story-- which would be useful when applying for funding.
