Startup idea to develop a comprehensive horticulture app that can keep track of various plant species and their specific care needs, provide care reminders, and sync with weather apps for accurate feed and irrigation management. The app aims to simplify the exhaustive process of maintaining an extensive plant catalogue manual tracking.

I am a horticulturist. There is a surprising dearth of worthwhile horticulture apps. A handy app would have you input species, and give care instructions, alerts to feed, and interact with weather apps to track how much rainfall has occurred.

Care instructions for plants can widely differ, including sunlight requirements, companion plants, etc. Tracking feeding can become a pain unless meticulously updated in excel or entered in their entirety in a to-do app for notifications. Yes, I've search extensively and nothing like this exists. -- I currently have go-to sources for information, and I plan with a to-do app and track with a spreadsheet.
