Startup Idea: Webpage Management and Annotation Tool for Developers

Summary for idea #1986
Startup idea to create an advanced link management tool. The software would enable users to save, annotate, and group online pages, receive reminders about unread documents, and mark topics as completed. The online app should also allow users to draw a roadmap from saved links that can be accessed from multiple devices.

I am software developer and researcher learning new technologies or looking for answers to various questions. I often end up with dozens of open pages in my browser which are either relevant to my studies or trigger a new line of research (e.g. think of various sets of tools one may need to create a web site). As I cannot physically read everything at once (e.g., a manual I am reading points to another relevant page),I end up leaving opened tabs until... well, sometimes indefinitely, and cannot recall later the reason I wanted to read some article. A page/link management tool that would allow me to save links, annotate and group them, get reminders about unread documents and mark topics as completed would be of great help. The standard browser history is not suitable as by far not every opened page needs attention. Bookmarking mechanism is rather primitive as well. An online app that draws a roadmap from saved links and allows to access it from another device (e.g. I'd like to resume reading a manual on Python saved last week while commuting) would be of great help.
