Startup Idea: Smart IT Equipment Selection Tool

Startup idea to develop a robust and intuitive selection tool for IT equipment. It will guide non-tech savvy customers to the correct product by selecting relevant options, and defining their specifications like number of ports, throughput, etc. Can be expanded to cover a wide range of IT equipment.

I work in the IT industry. I have customers that cannot for the life of them find a product that will help their needs. We need for them a basic selector tool. For example, they could have options that would narrow down what they need. They would select for exmaple, A network piece of equipment, then trying to connect to the internet, then cable internet. Then this will open the router categories. They would then continue selecting things like how many ports that they need, their throughput, etc. It would save them from having to call someone to ask them the questions and select the proper product for them. You could expand this well beyond routers to most basic types of IT equipment.
