Startup Idea: Automated Proposal Generation Tool for Engineers

Startup idea to develop a software that can create customized service proposals automatically. The software would incorporate reusable terms and conditions along with service descriptions. It would also include the ability to personalize the proposals with client names and companies. The final proposal should be compatible with Microsoft Word.

I am an engineer that works for a mission critical consulting engineering firm. We offer a variety of different services for our clients. We often spend a lot of time manually creating proposals for our services. In many cases there are large generic parts of our proposal documents that are re-used in many proposals. These include generic terms and conditions and also paragraphs and lists detailing the services provided. It would be useful if there was a program that could automatically build a proposal with a custom format where I could choose the pieces of the proposal to be used in the document. I would also like to provide the name and company of the person that it is addressed to and have it automatically filled in. The output of the program should also be compatible with Microsoft Word.
