Startup Idea: Idea Management App for Academics

Startup idea to develop a mobile friendly software that helps academic researchers easily manage, sort, and tag their research ideas. Features may include sorting by topic, tagging with keywords, ordering by date, and potential co-author tagging.

I need a better way to keep track of my ideas. I work in academic research, and it's very important that I keep track of ideas for future research. Right now, I just write them down in notepad, but it's not organized. I would love a way to sort ideas by topic, tag them with key words, sort by date, potential co-authors, etc. I have found programs that are computer based, but nothing that would work on my spartpone.
