Startup Idea: Innovative Tutoring Platform for Expertise Match and Improved Functionality

Startup idea to develop an online tutoring platform that excels in two main areas - a superior algorithm for matching tutors with students based on expertise and enhancement of online classroom tools for better interaction, text editing and webcam use.

I am a tutor as a part time job while doing graduate studies. I use many online software-based tutoring services, but find all to be lacking in two main areas.

First, they seem to have a hard time connecting tutors to the students that actually match their expertise. Oftentimes I don't come across the right students, even though I know they exist in the database.

Additionally, many offer very poor online classroom tools. These could be improved with increased interactive functionality, better text editing software, and maybe better use the webcam. There are many avenues to explore here, but all could be improved.
