Startup Idea: Innovative Speech to Text Conversion App for the Deaf

Startup idea to develop an advanced app that aids in comprehension of group conversations for the deaf. The app would have features like multi-directional microphones and display software, able to convert multiple speech inputs to text and assign each speaker a unique text color for easy follow up.

I am Deaf and have often worked in places where regular meetings with a variety of people, almost all of which tend to be people who can hear, are held. I am waiting for an app to be developed which takes the ability of software such as DragonDictate to the next level. What I'm hoping for is a single unit containing a screen, a multi-directional microphone, and the software. This software would have the ability to handle multiple inputs, convert those inputs from speech to text, and display them on the screen, with each speaker being assigned a text color so that the conversation can be easily followed. I have seen similar technology used to work with single individuals, so I think it may not be long before someone develops this, which would make meetings so much more productive!. As I stated above, there IS some software out there already, notably DragonDictate, which can do it on an individual basis. I'm looking for the next level! :).
