Startup Idea: Enhanced Project Management Tools Startup Idea

Startup idea to develop a project management tool that visually represents intricate workflows and automatic step dependencies. A tool that advances beyond simple step comment updates, to automatically indicate new necessary steps as they emerge during the project progression. This could facilitate better understanding and management of complex projects within the software business environment.

I am in the software business and we are currently in a mass upgrade of our environments. There are other projects in the works. The project management tools we have right now are sufficient but they lack workflow and better business process pictures. I believe instead of updating the project steps with comments that there should be some tool to have a pictures or steps. Comments only update with the step in the project. What if that step within a project leads to another necessary step in a project. There should be something that automatically does this or has that option. Then this will reflect on the project on a larger scale. I would be helpful to have a project management tool that includes those different steps.
