Startup Idea: Modern Work Order Management System

Startup idea to develop a state-of-the-art work order system for maintenance tasks. The software would include features like drop down menus for task assignment, email notifications, online completion of work orders, time tracking and equipment maintenance history.

We currently use a program called Msaver for maintenance work orders at a college I work for the program is old and generates paper printed work orders. A good state of the art work order system should be able to be developed that would include drop down menus for assigning work to personnel and the ability to email the person assigned the task, once the task is completed the personnel could complete the work order online and have it saved to a database for later reference as well as tracking the time personnel account for in a day. This system would also track what was done on a specific piece of equipment.
