Startup Idea: Automated Job Matching Program for Finance Professionals

Startup idea to create a software application tailored for finance professionals, particularly those in the mortgage industry, that inputs their specific skills and outputs optimal job titles or links to jobs they are capable of but unaware of. Essentially, an automated headhunter program allowing users to discover more fulfilling career prospects.

I currently work in the mortgage industry. One of the big issues that we run into, at least a lot of younger people who ended up getting stuck here because it was the only job at the time of the market collapse, is that we don't have any true marketable skills.

I am a mortgage underwriter and although the pay is fine, i wish i could say that I do something worthwhile with my finance degree. So my idea revolves around external or internal positions that we don't readily know about, but would actually fit our skill sets. Everyone knows that when you look at a job page, its rather vague and some of those jobs you wish you could do, sound like they are out of your scope of ability. I want a program that takes what you are good at doing,(risk analysis, credit review, income analysis, etc) and be able to give you a list of job titles that you would be good at doing that you didn't know existed.

I'd say this would be a great pay per result type service and for me personally at 28, i would pay to use this service in place of using a headhunter. Honestly, this would be an automated headhunter program.

TL:DR; A program that takes your specific skill sets and provides you either a list of jobs, or links to jobs that you didn't know you could do.
