Startup Idea: Automation Software for Enterprise Hospitality IT

Startup idea to develop affordable automation software tailored for hospitality IT. The goal is to automate server checkouts, installs, SQL deployments and standard enterprise-wide processes, and cut down manual workloads.

I work in IT, specifically related to Hospitality Point of Sales systems. We could very use software to better automate our current processes on the data center side. We are attempting to bring in Chef and other automation software but that will take some time to acquire and learn. Much of what we do is still manual, installs and sql deployments one server at a time for example. Being an enterprise solutions company, much of the automation software that exists is very expensive. Anything that would work well to automate a bunch of our server checkout processes and standard enterprise-wide deployments while taking out much of the manual work would be helpful.
