Startup Idea: App to Consolidate and Share Blocked Numbers

Startup idea to develop an app that allows users to share and consolidate blocked numbers from their phones. This would help in creating a more extensive and effective list of blocked numbers for all users to avoid unwanted calls, especially from telemarketers.

I work from home - I own/operate a bed and breakfast business. My time is quite valuable to me and I am inundated with phone calls from telemarketers.

I have been using my iphone to block every telemarketer that calls and usually I follow up by looking up the number online to see if other people have the same call from the same number. I can't be the only person to get and block these numbers.

I WOULD PAY MONEY for an ap that would take all of my blocked numbers and add the blocked numbers from all the other people using the app to my blocked numbers list. Of course the scammers would just change thier number but if the update is pretty instantaneous then the first person or two would catch the number and that number would then be safe for everyone else and no good for the scammer.

Lots of things that would need to be figured out since people could block thier family, maybe a way to classify the caller?

Anyway, this is a big problem but I already have at least 4 calls a day that get blocked from the list I have now, maybe with the help of a new APP I could eliminate receiving those IRS lawsuit calls!.
