Startup Idea: Inventory Management Software for Vintage Toy Business

Startup idea to develop a specialized inventory management software for vintage toy businesses. The software should cater to the specific needs of the industry by allowing product categorization, condition tracking, sales price, and sourcing details. It should also offer user interactivity and the ability to sync to a sales website.

I own and run a Vintage toy selling business. We are a small business that I run and occasionally employ others, usually friends or family, to help me run my tables/booth at toy shows and comic conventions.

One of the major problems that I run into, is the lack of a inventory system that is specific to my industry. A system that could categorize product, condition, cost, sales price, where the product was sourced etc.

I have used basic excel spreadsheets but would prefer something more user interactive as well as having the ability for it to synch up to a sales website.

While I am a representative of a small industry, I feel this would be a tool my industry could not only use, but would help in our overall growth and business.
