Startup Idea: Software for Streamlining Employee Benefits Tracking

Startup idea to create a software solution that automates and simplifies the task of tracking new hires' benefits statuses. The software should include reminders and notifications for approaching deadlines to ensure ACA compliance and reduce the manual effort required from HR professionals.

I am an HR professional. I spend a lot of time tracking status of benefits for new employees. We have new hires all the time and I currently track benefit status manually. If I had software to help with this, I could save a lot of time and it would help us stay ACA compliant. Employees are not very good at turning in paperwork so I need to track it for them. I need to send out reminders and let them know of fast-approaching deadlines. I have tried finding a solution but a lot of what I have found means working with spreadsheets.
