Startup Idea: Smartphone Alarm Solution for Uninterrupted Rest

Summary for idea #2171
Startup idea to develop a software solution for mobile devices, specifically aimed at facilitating an unspoilt nap or sleep. The goal is to allow all alerts to be silenced, including calls and messages while keeping the alarm function active. This solution would be beneficial for individuals in areas with frequent power outages, who rely on their mobile devices as their primary alarm tools.

I am an early riser and have many business appointments during the day. My cellphone is used for an alarm clock. It is set for several times a day. A nap or at least a power nap is very useful for my efficiency and job performance. Unfortunately I must leave the phone on for my alarm to sound. Sounds dumb but I live in area where power is often lost and a am dependent on my cellphone to wake me. The problem is that with the phone and alarm on, I am almost always awakened by phone calls or text alerts. It would be nice to have a way to completely silence the phone and leave the alarm clock ticking. Yes but electric alarms fail either because of low battery back up or frequent power outages and wind up alarms tick loudly or need rewound... lol too much to remember. Problem not researched and problem is not solved.. hope this helps you.
