Startup Idea: Traffic Count Reporting App

Startup idea to develop an app that allows individuals to collect and submit traffic data. This would enable accurate reporting and help to counter unsubstantiated traffic complaints and justify projects.

I work as a traffic data collector where I collect traffic pattern information, such as car counts, turns and signal times for governments and clients. One thing that I notice is that neighbors try to BLOCK projects by saying that there is more traffic than there really is. If there was a way to count traffic on an APP and have them submit a few minutes of data it would be a better justification for actually doing a count RATHER than just mere complaints from neighbors.
