Startup Idea: Adobe After Effects Plugin for Automated Scene Analysis

Startup idea to develop a plugin for Adobe After Effects, capable of analyzing footage for specific colors or patterns based on user-defined parameters. The plugin should trigger predefined actions once it identifies these patterns or colors. It should also provide a dropdown menu listing the instances and times when the findings occurred for quick navigation.

I work video production as my primary job.

I use Adobe After Effects which has good plugin support. It is a pain to manually scrub through hours of footage, looking for simple cues.

It would be fantastic if we could get a plugin that can analyze a scene and look for certain colors or patterns which have been set in the parameters.

When it finds these colors/ patterns, it could trigger a variety of actions, from splicing the clip, to switching on another layer, or even running a script. I

t would also display any findings in drop down menu which has every instance and the time it found it, for fast navigation. This would be a great help.
