Startup Idea: Enhanced Search Function for Amazon Mechanical Turk

Startup idea to develop a program that enhances the search function on Amazon Mechanical Turk. The software will help users filter HITs based on their specific qualifications and preferences, including a maximum dollar limit. Further, it will give the users an option to permanently ignore certain HITs, making the search process more efficient and user-friendly.

This is an Amazon Mechanical Turk HIT, and my idea is about AMT itself.

As an AMT worker, I often search for HITs within a certain dollar amount, and for which I am qualified. The resulting HITs often include ones for which I am not, in fact, qualified. Although they do match my AMT qualifications, the requester often includes requirements I cannot meet such as an age range, whether I am a customer of a specific company, or whether I am in a specific profession. As a result, my search continues to produce HITs for which I am not really qualified.

AMT also allows us to search for HITs with a minimum dollar amount, but there is no search function for a maximum dollar amount. Almost all of the HITs on the higher-end reward amounts are of a specific type in which I am not interested, so I would like to be able to disregard any HITs over $5.00.

I think my idea is relatively simple. A program which allows us to conduct a more advanced search for HITs would be extremely useful, especially if it included a way to permanently ignore specific HITs so that they no longer appear in the search results.
