Startup Idea: Forex Auto-Trading Program

Startup idea to develop assisting software for part-time forex traders. This program would be designed to work in conjunction with popular forex trading platforms like MetaTrader or act as a standalone. It should allow traders to input different currency pairs and alert them about potential trading opportunities via cell phone notifications.

I currently do some currency trading in the forex markets. Ive only been doing it part time for maybe a year. And I dont really seem to be getting anywhere at it. Yet Ive heard of other people doing very well at it by coming up with thier own auto trading programs. I would like to do something like that. But I wouldnt know where to begin. I know the platform that most forex traders use is Metatrader. So if something could be developed that would work together with that for a novice trader. Or a stand alone program where I could just input all the different currency pairs into it. And I could maybe send me alerts to my cellphone when I should buy what, or sell it.
