Startup Idea: Adapter Technology to Integrate Apple Pay with Chip Card Systems

Startup idea to develop an adapter device or chip that enables Apple Pay users to use their smartphones at chip card systems available in most stores. It could operate via an integration with an app, aiming to provide a more secure and convenient method than traditional credit cards. The idea suggests potential interest and funding from Apple.

My idea is for an adapter technology. I don't know if its possible but here it is. I have an iPhone 6s and I use apple pay whenever I can but it is very rare that a store accepts it, yet almost every store accepts the chip that is inside a credit or debit card.

My idea is to somehow have a small adapter that can plug into the phone and turn it into a chip like the ones inside of credit cards. Maybe it doesn't even have to be attached to the phone, it just needs to be a thin chip that maybe integrates through an app and can be stored in your wallet in place of a credit card which carries the number and other personal information directly on it. This would be a far more secure and convenient option.

This would allow apple pay users to use their device at almost every location that accepts credit and debit cards. It is so common for stores to have the chip reader that finding a way to integrate the apple pay function with them would be extremely valuable to Apple and something they would possibly even fund or buy.
