Startup Idea: Unified Laser Optics Hardware Solution

Startup idea to build a software-based solution to create a hardware that can integrate various different laser optics from different brands into a unified, convenient and aesthetic design. This aims to solve the existing problem of non-compliance of various optics shapes, sizes and designs.

I am a laser applications engineer who works with laser optics every day.

Currently, laser optics is dominated by a few large companies that have their own designs, their own specs, and their own sizes.

Many of my systems end up being a Frankenstein like nightmare of optics of various shapes, sizes and designs.

Design Research Optics will have their own hardware that only fits Design Research Optics lenses, Thorlabs will have hardware that is suited only for Thorlabs optics.

A company that provides hardware that can smoothly and aesthetically integrate all these different optics would be invaluable to me as I am selling these machines and any aesthetic/convenience upgrade is a big boon.
