Startup Idea: Affordable Project Tracking Software for Small Development Teams

Startup idea to develop an affordable, configurable project tracking application for small development teams, capable of managing software story, test cases, test plans, defects, and other project-specific details, inspired by but more adaptable than existing solutions like Rally Dev.

I work as a software quality assurance engineer in Ann Arbor MI. One thing that really it a pain for me is that there are so very few applications that are affordable for small development teams that we can use to track everything in a project.

When I mean everything I am talking about the Applications story for the developer to work on and all my test cases, test plans, any defect I want to file on a specific story or the application in general. There are applications our there that are web based that do this, like Rally dev ect.

One problem with them is that they are very expensive and not always configureable to what I want or need. It would be great to have an application like Rally dev that I can change any part of it to suite our needs.
