Startup Idea: Development of a Unified, Validated Contact Management and Email System
I am project manager for a program that tracks over 200 contacts for purposes of sending out emails to them. During the early years of the program, people started using an html table as a list to keep information about the people current.
Unfortunately, this list is used by more and more people each year, which causes much redundant data and incorrect entries (as it is not checked for quality). For example, some people, who are no longer associated with this program are still getting reminder emails about events that do not apply to them any longer.
The ideal solution to this problem would be a single place where only updated contacts with valid emails resided. It would also help to have access control of this "place" so that whoever is entering the information is sure to qualify as a person with skills and correct information about the contacts.
It would also be nice to have a "check" to make sure that email reminders are sent only if applicable (e.g. if a contact is no longer associated with the program, they shouldn't receive anymore emails).
