Startup Idea: Develop Extension to Monitor Page Updates on Project Management Tools

Startup idea to develop a browser extension or software that monitors updates on project management tools like Trac used by indie game developers. The software will alert the user with pop-up notifications when there are new updates or changes to their assigned tickets, improving their work efficiency.

I am a sound designer and I work for the indie video game industry and I am responsible for create sound effects and music for video games along with light sound coding.

I use this program online called trac which is a program that I use to make sure that the game development is going smoothly and to make sure everything is being completed on time and correctly in each development stage. There are tasks called tickets and they are basically a title a description of what needs to be done and a attachment and comment section to sort out issues. But the thing is whenever the page gets updated it does not tell you and you have to keep checking over and over and I can have like up to 15 tickets at a time and its hard to keep track of all of it.

I think the best way to fix problems like this with trac (and any other type of program like this) would just to have a extension for a browser of some sort of program that does a watch for a page online so that when there is anything updated or new on that webpage it will alert you via the program in a pop up kinda like window how a anti-virus software would detect a malware virus.

I think if you did this it would save a lot of people a whole lot of time it any situation that is like this. I hope this was helpful.
