Startup idea to develop a flu tracking app aimed at travelers. The application would obtain information from hospital databases and schools and provide up-to-date information about cold and flu outbreaks, including details about strain, symptoms, and type of virus prevalent in a specific location. The users could also report outbreaks in their area.

Cold and Flu Tracker for travelers. I'm tired of always getting sick when I travel.

We can log onto the weather channel and get allergy related info for a day or a region, but why not cold and flu outbreaks?

Hospital databases and schools can report that info into a database and the strain, symptoms and type of cold or flu which is going around in a particular area can be reported.

That way travelers know how to prepare. If we could download an app to get the report, and even report the outbreak within our region, it would help everyone be aware.
