Startup Idea: Robust Software for Digital Signage Networks

Startup idea to develop a reliable and efficient software package to manage and control computers in digital signage networks, ensuring seamless playback of videos and images without causing system slowdown or crash, including the ability to manage a network of signs remotely and push content to them without hassles.

I worked in the Digital Signage Industry for 4 years.

During that time, my company struggled to find any reliably working software to run the computers that controlled the displays.

I worked with numerous software solutions over the years, and none worked in the way many signage networks would need them too.

One of the bigger issues was the ability to continually play video files and images throughout the day without causing slowdown.

Many of these software packages would eventually cause the computers to slowdown or crash after a prolonged period of signage playback.

Another big issue was the ability to manage a network of signs and remotely push content to them. I think there is some serious room for growth in the Signage industry as far as software is concerned, as the medium is still growing and there are no good turn key solutions available.
