Startup Idea: Automated Software for Lab Instrument Calibration

Startup idea to develop a software capable of automating the instrument calibration process in laboratories. The application would increase overall efficiency by reducing the manual labor time and thus, increasing the accuracy of calibration and saving on resources.

I am a lab tech at a nearby lab and we analyze various solutions everyday. Occasionally, we come across the problem of instrument needing "tuned up." When an instrument needs tuned up, we typically have to go into the instruments software (via the instrument) and calibrate it manually. Currently calibrating an instrument can take up to 4 hours to calibrate a single instrument. It would be great to have a software that automates this with precision and accuracy. Anything to automate the calibrations would be fantastic. It would not only save us time, but would save us money because we could get to work on other things while it calibrates.
