Startup Idea: Real Time Vehicle Communication System

Startup idea to develop a software that enables real-time communication between vehicles on the road. Inspired by the communication modalities of an online multiplayer game, the idea aims to increase road safety and interactions between drivers, potentially improving the overall driving experience and reducing road rage.

I've often imagined software that allows cars near each other on the road to be able to communicate with each other in real time. A long time ago I played an online multiplayer game (Mystic Realms of Alhanzar) where each character, in addition to being represented by an avatar on the screen, also had a box that represented that character with their name and other pertinent game info. There was a section of screen off to the left where the boxes for all the characters in the area would appear, allowing a player to click on the box to interact with that character rather than chasing down and clicking on their avatar. This system allowed easy visual confirmation of each character in the area as well as an easy way to interface with the character, and I believe this can easily be applied to vehicles. Imagine being able to ask the car ahead of you hogging the passing lane if they could be so kind as to move over please, and imagine being verbally abused by that driver in kind. I jest, but I am serious about this interface, it might have some really interesting applications if explored further. I have not found a solution to the problem of communicating with nearby drivers, except to have a large pad of paper and a permanent marker, to quickly write single words or short phrases and hope that you don't distract the other drivers into going off the road or other such disastrous outcomes.
