Startup Idea: Holistic Monitoring Software for Wastewater Treatment Plants

Startup idea to develop a unified software that ties into the existing SCADA system in wastewater treatment plants. The software will provide a holistic view of all areas, enabling prompt response to equipment faults and improving overall plant operations.

I work in wastewater treatment, specifically in monitoring and maintaining pumps and other machines.

A big problem I have is that different areas of the plant have to be monitored separately to ensure proper operations.

I, personally, would not pay for software to solve this problem because I'm not the one who makes purchasing decisions. But the city I work for would, and is currently trying to see if such software exists so they can purchase it.

The software would tie into our SCADA system and allow a more thorough picture of plant operations and allow a more prompt response to equipment faults and other problems.
