Startup Idea: Integrating POS System with E-commerce for Color Swatching

Startup idea to develop a software solution that integrates retail POS System with an e-commerce platform for color swatching. The system would allow the use of fabric swatches for the colors of clothing, linking these swatches to color names in the POS system, with the option to hide swatches of sold-out colors.

I work in Retail - both in-store and online running an E-Commerce website.

Our current POS system doesn't integrate completely with our website. Specifically it won't allow us to use fabric swatches for the colours of the clothing we sell, only colour names in a drop-down list. This leads to confusion on the part of our customers as many of our items have dozens of colour options.

Yes, I certainly would pay for something that would solve this issue.

If we could create colour swatches that link to the colour names in our POS system, and that each swatch would then be hidden on the page when that colour is sold out, that would be perfect for our needs.
