Startup Idea: Driving Mode App to Combat Distracted Driving

Startup idea to develop a software that enables a 'Driving Mode' on phones, disabling all notifications while driving. Aimed at reducing distracted driving, a prominent cause of road accidents.

Distracted driver has become the number one cause of accidents on our roads.

Some people compulsively check their phones and are literally unable to leave the phone alone while driving.

I propose a piece of software that will allow the user to put their phone into "Driving Mode" which would disable all notifications on their phone while driving.

Studies have shown that removing audible cues will decrease the chance of distraction. This is a very important issue facing our society.
