Startup Idea: Indoor Air Quality Monitoring Software

Startup idea to develop a software program that uses computer cameras to monitor and quantify visible air particles. This could aid in evaluating efficiency of air filters, particularly beneficial for individuals with COPD or respiratory disorders.

Indoor air quality is is a considerable concern for many, especially those with COPD or respiratory disorders.

It occurred to me that the camera on a typical computer could be used to monitor visible particles in the air. Perhaps a software program could be designed to monitor particulates in the before, during, and after use of a air filter. This would give the consumer a crude sense of efficiency and speed of clearing air of particulates.
