Startup idea to develop a software that assists small business owners of assisted living homes to efficiently track their residents' medical needs, employee certifications, and health department requirements. The software would ideally allow for customization to account for varying regulations between different locations.

I own a small business. An assisted living home where we take care of the elderly. There are about 300 such homes in Tucson, Arizona.
Nationwide there would be a fairly large market. Homes take care of as many as ten residents.
Software would give these homes the ability to do the following;
- Track residents yearly requirement such as TB tests, flu shots, etc.
- Track employee yearly requirements such as TB tests, training, etc.
- Log residents personal and medication records. Especially when medications need to be reordered.
- Track Health Dept. requirements and keep records of in required self inspections and other requirements which need to be done weekly, monthly or yearly.
- Since Health Dept. rules change somewhat from state to state, programs would need to be somewhat customizable by user.
Keeping track of all these various requirements is a big problem in these homes. There are probably more features which should be included, but these are all I can think of off the top of my head.
