Startup Idea: Security Job Matching Application
I work in the security and investigations department. Our biggest issue is employee turn over rate and this is simply because of how much we pay our employees as a result of our minimal budget. I have noticed that we happen to have a lot of employees apply but then when they never receive a phone call back because we have the position filled...we lose these people because they either get other jobs or they lose confidence in our business practice.
I used to love this APPLication called TINDER. It worked by swiping left or right if we ever like that partner. What I would like to have in my hands right now...is a SECURITY APP that works just like TINDER. Where employees can swipe left and right if they are able to work in certain locations that my company offers. For example, we are contracted with over 100 businesses out there (Manufacturing centers). Out of these manufacturing centers, one person from my security team wants to lets say call off, but since they are contractors...calling off means that no one would be workign at the site. In order to fill these positions quick, prospective employees that have signed in the app and shown proof of having all the desired licenses (Mainly a perc card or if required for the site, a foid card), they could just swipe left or right until they find a desired pay (based on location).
I think this is one of the best ideas I have ever had, and unfortunately....I cannot make this happen as a result of my lack of expertise. But let me put it this way....this would be an app which your company can become not only proffitable...but most likely go against other crappy sites such as INDEED.com which basically is nice...but doesn't really give people the freedom to work on their own time as they wish.
I really hope this idea helped. I HAVE A CRAP ton such as these. My passion is to create innovative ideas such as these, but since I don't have the knowledge to create them, I do have the ideas for someone like you who can actually make it happen.
What do ya think?. I have. Basically, we have no current solution. We just hire and when people leave or get fired, we just switch people from other sites until we find a potential employee. It sucks.
